Overview
Duckett Marine is growing! We are a local boat dealership seeking a motivated, full-time employee to join our team. Primary duties will be installation of aftermarket parts and accessories, performing routine/preventive maintenance and assisting with day-to-day operations with an emphasis on providing strong customer service. Familiarity with bass fishing electronics, outboard engines or pleasure/pontoon boats is a plus, but not required. Duckett Marine offers a competitive full benefits package including health insurance, paid leave and 401k contributions. Job-specific training will be provided onsite and factory training certifications are available to qualified employees who wish to advance within the company. This position is full-time with a regular schedule.

Duties

  • Install, assemble, fabricate, and repair components according to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and sales teams to provide technical support and product knowledge during customer interactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform all tasks in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Candidate MUST possess effective time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with commonly used hand and basic power tools.
  • Experience with fabrication and electrical systems is preferred.
  • Candidate MUST possess a valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Candidate MUST furnish their own basic tools. Industry specific tools will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
