The Dynamics Platform Solutions Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC and related enterprise business applications. This role ensures technology initiatives align with organizational goals through effective application strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end project management. This individual leads the design, development, and implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions across key business functions such as sales, marketing, finance, and customer service. They are responsible for driving platform adoption, managing ERP enhancements and integrations, and continuously optimizing system performance and user experience. Working closely with stakeholders, the Solutions Manager refines the technology roadmap, identifies opportunities for business process improvement, and establishes best practices for Dynamics 365 usage. The role also includes oversight of technical design, configuration, change management, integration architecture, and functional support for mission-critical applications. Additionally, the Dynamics Platform Solutions Manager leads and mentors a team of developers and analysts—prioritizing tasks, ensuring delivery quality, and fostering a collaborative, agile work environment. This individual serves as a critical liaison between IT and business functions, ensuring effective communication, alignment of objectives, and delivery of scalable, future-ready solutions.
What we will ask you to do:
- Leads a full-stack development team covering data, application, and process design.
- Provides mentorship, coaching, and professional development to technical staff and stakeholders.
- Defines and executes the business applications roadmap in coordination with IT and business leaders.
- Delivers an annual technical strategy for future-ready platforms and measurable value.
- Interfaces with executive leadership to advise on risks, opportunities, and system-related initiatives.
- Manages the development, testing, and deployment of customizations and integrations within Dynamics 365 Business Central and associated tools (e.g., Power Apps, Tasklet Factory, Power Automate).
- Oversees EDI implementation, system upgrades, and modernization efforts in line with best practices and security standards.
- Drives data model enhancements to support visibility for finance, sales, and analytics teams.
- Ensures robust system performance, reliability, and support through proactive monitoring and service management practices.
- Leads business continuity planning, including data backups and disaster recovery strategy.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and IT Operations to deliver cross-departmental solutions.
- Champions policy development for system governance, compliance, and service delivery efficiency.
- Manages project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations across multiple initiatives.
- Communicates status, risks, and progress to senior management and business stakeholders.
- Ensures alignment of all application development with strategic technology and business roadmaps.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, or related ERP/CRM platforms preferred.
- 10 years of experience supporting and managing enterprise business applications, with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
- 10 years of hands-on experience developing in Dynamics 365 Business Central and NAV using AL and C/AL.
- 10 years of C#/.NET development experience, with a focus on ERP-related integrations and custom solutions.
- Extensive experience supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision).
- Advanced development experience with AL, C/AL, C#, and .NET for ERP and business process automation.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, EDI, TARGIT, JetReports, Web APIs, ETL, and iPaaS architecture.
- Strong mentorship and coaching ability to support professional growth and team performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.
