Job Summary

The Planning and Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for assisting in coordinating the flow of products between departments by utilizing production schedules to meet sales demands in an efficient manner. The individual will be aware of KPIs and will be able to challenge those with management team to ensure efficient daily scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly planning for raw material to finished product.
  • Direct responsibility for creating and maintaining weekly and monthly schedules with regular support from Planning Manager.
  • Frequent cross-department communication as to how plan impacts them.
  • Finished goods inventory control and regular confirmation that daily schedules align with finished goods demand.
  • Full understanding of various details relative to planning. For example- raw material size and species, finished goods product specifications, and operational standards within the production department.
  • Monitor the peaks and valleys of the flow of production and adjust schedules up or down as needed
  • Verify daily shift report information is accurate and that expected output of finished goods versus input of raw materials aligns with expected standard (yield).
  • Assume full control of planning our Fresh Lightly Smoked operation.
  • Must be committed to the Mowi code of conduct and vision and values.
  • Must be flexible in both work assignments and hours worked. Must be detail oriented with good organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, both oral and written.
  • Must have the ability to actively listen and to accept criticism.

Experience and Skill Requirement

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Intermediate Excel or higher.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on textured concrete floors for a minimum of eight hours. He/she will be using their arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, reach product. There is also, a lot of pinch gripping. Noise level in work environment is usually moderate. He/she is required to use proper PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment) appropriately to prevent injury to self or others. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education Requirements

  • High Diploma or the equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience in supply chain management or business-related field preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
