Our team is seeking a Brand Photographer, Creative Manager to work in close collaboration with our Chief Marketing and Chief Brand Officer, developing content (original photography, original video elements, and photography-oriented graphic design) to release across Duckworth’s multitude of distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will arrive with an expert’s grasp of photography and composition, a skill to be coupled with their abilities to produce and stage shoots (with a curated, evolving roster of models and subjects), to shoot and edit iPhone video and to generate photography-oriented graphic design for myriad implementation.
In addition to these responsibilities, the individual must have an ability to remain meticulously organized, filing assets based on fabric, garment style, etc. in order to curate and then influence photography-use decisions in applications ranging from customer-facing email design and www.duckworthco.com website photography (product pages, homepage design, etc.), to in-store displays and mailers.
The ideal candidate will also possess a solid understanding of marketing/social media trends and algorithmic influence/preference across the above social media outlets. The end goal? To increase Duckworth's organic and paid presence in support of planned marketing objectives, campaigns and initiatives, notably customer acquisition, web sessions and conversions.
The ideal candidate will be a driven, creative, collaborative, innovative and independently minded self-starter who knows how to learn and iterate new knowledge efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Photography (produce, shoot and edit) generation
- Seasonal campaign photography
- Product Display Page (PDP) Photography
- Flat-Lay Photography management (flat lay photography is outsourced)
- iPhone videography generation
- Paid social advertisement graphic asset generation
- Organic social media planning and implementation, campaign management, and asset planning and execution
- Analyze social data for insights, with an intuitive ability to apply information into actionable changes to improve the performance of impressions, traffic, customer acquisition and conversions
- Create and maintain detailed marketing and shoot calendars with content details (shot lists, creative briefs, mood boards), goals and resource needs
- Photography and video asset organization and indexing
- Website photography implementation

JOB DETAILS:
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Wage Salary: Competitive and DOE
- Ability and willingness to travel for campaign execution
- Must be able to lift, stand with a carry heavy gear bags (30-40 lbs ) through shoot locations for extended periods of time
- Must be a competent outdoorsperson and independent in the backcountry
- Possession and proficiency with equipment necessary for backcountry ski, splitboard, and snowmobile shoots a plus
