Duct & Chimney Pros is a home service company specializing in air duct cleaning, chimney repair, and chimney cleaning services for homeowners. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as technicians.
Job Overview:
- You will receive 2-3 weeks of paid training ($120 per day, 5 days a week).
- Training includes learning how to perform services and communicate effectively with customers to explain and recommend additional services.
- After training, you will work independently, traveling to customer homes to perform duct cleaning or chimney services.
- This job is physically easy to learn, but strong sales and communication skills are key to increasing your earnings.
Compensation Options:
1. Commission-Based Pay (Best for High Earners)
- 20% commission on total job revenue.
- Technician covers gas expenses for the company-provided vehicle.
- Example: If a customer pays $800, you earn $160. Completing 3-5 jobs daily can mean earning $500 per day.
2. Hourly Upsell Bonus
- $12 per hour 15% commission on upsells.
- Company covers gas expenses for the provided work vehicle.
All technicians receive:

Earning Potential:
- New technicians typically earn $1,200 - $1,600 per week.

Duties
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment in manufacturing facilities.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess equipment functionality and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Fabricate components as needed to resolve issues or enhance equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and low voltage applications to identify and rectify problems efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and concerns.
- Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
- Use ammeters and other diagnostic tools to analyze electrical systems and ensure optimal operation.
- Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company policies.
Skills
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
- Experience in field service roles, particularly within manufacturing environments.
- Strong fabrication skills to create or modify components as necessary.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
