We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced Workers Compensation Legal Assistant in Baton Rouge to support the WC team as a team lead.
Job responsibilities :
- Contacting clients, adjusters and providers on a regular basis and calls are returned in a timely manner.
- Initial file setup into case management software.
- Mail management of all incoming / outgoing mail, email or fax.
- Calendar management for attorneys regarding deadlines, client meetings and all other scheduled events as well as confirming addresses for meetings.
- Preparation of any settlement documents when necessary.
- Scanning of documents to the appropriate party and / or client file.
- Close out of electronic files in a timely manner.
- Drafting of basic legal pleadings
- Responsible for managing the workers compensation legal assistants, you will serve as the WC team lead.
As a WC Legal Assistant for Dudley DeBosier, you will provide clients with extremely great customer service from the inception of the case until its resolution.
