We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, a meticulous eye for cleanliness, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in housekeeping and customer service—preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial cleaning setting—is highly desirable.
As a family-owned business, Due West Hideaways offers a unique hospitality experience with four glamping suites, a luxurious bathhouse, a lodge, an office, a residential home, and an indoor event space. Each area requires regular cleaning and maintenance based on the rental schedule. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time. Candidates must be available to work weekends. We believe in growth and promote from within our company.

Business Owner or Manager on Duty
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all guest areas.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens thoroughly.
- Change linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are guest-ready.
- Manage, organize, inventory, and label all housekeeping supplies.
- Handle laundry and ironing tasks as needed.
- Clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered surfaces as required.
- Maintain a well-stocked and immaculate housekeeping cart and storage area.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and household items.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for supplies, assistance, or information.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop continuously throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs for tasks such as changing linens.
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for extended periods (up to 4 hours per shift).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial services.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Knowledge of proper sanitizing procedures.
