What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to lead a skilled team, ensuring streamlined financial operations and strategic decision-making. Our company handles multiple simultaneous high-value projects annually, each with unique financial complexities. You will play a pivotal role in adapting processes, ensuring compliance, and driving financial effectiveness with analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
Your Impact:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering collaboration and effectiveness.
- Oversee weekly disbursements and maintain a sustainable billing process to support efficient cash collections.
- Manage receivables, assist with collections, and perform reconciliation, aging analysis, and reporting.
- Execute month-end close processes, including WIP deferral and accrual entries.
- Calculate cash positions and assessments
- Conduct monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations with strong attention to detail.
- Prepare and process journal entries and financial statements.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Develop and implement workflow controls to enhance effectiveness.
- Support regulatory audits and compliance.
- Ensure financial stability in a dynamic environment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years in corporate or business accounting, with construction industry experience required.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office Suite.
- Experience with AIA billing
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to meet all assigned deadlines.
