We’re looking for two hardworking and detail-oriented Construction Materials Coordinators to keep our job sites running smoothly! If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being a crucial part of a fast-paced construction team, this role is for you. You'll be the go-to person for receiving and organizing materials, ensuring subcontractors get what they need, and keeping our inventory in check. This is a hands-on role where every day is different—you’ll be working with suppliers, tracking materials, and helping our team stay efficient. As the role grows, there’s potential to take on material deliveries to job sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries from suppliers, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure efficiency and accessibility.
- Prepare materials for subcontractor pickup, ensuring they receive the correct quantities.
- Track inventory levels, monitor usage, and report shortages or overages.
- Order materials per stock requirements with direction from Senior PM.
- Document and report material allocations, ensuring accurate records for accounting.
- Communicate with project managers and accounting regarding material needs and distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Potentially assist in delivering materials to job sites as the role develops.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction materials handling, warehouse coordination, or logistics preferred.
- Valid driver's license (preferred for material deliveries).
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer or mobile app skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus, but not required or necessary.
