What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Coordinator position at Duet?
The Compliance Coordinator works in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator to assure the delivery of quality community-based services to their assigned team.
Ensure that all compliance tasks including documentation are completed accurately and within the established timelines.
a. Write habilitation programs following SMART goal criteria.
b. Ensure documentation is being completed per frequency decided on by the ISP team. Completes monthly goal reviews.
c. Check HCBS log and CCIR tracking (day service) for completion.
d. Review Service Needs / Staff objectives.
e. Completes reviews of restrictions
f. Facilitate completion of assessments.
Assist with building and fostering a culture that:

Meets compliance on the team by holding all accountable.
a. Draft corrective action that is at the appropriate stage for progressive discipline.
Performance counseling, level 1, level 2 etc.
b. Implements and monitors plans of corrections.
Reviews documents related to the Health care of those supported.
a. Assures the following are completed: Health care report, health tracking review,
MAR reports.
b. Reviews Health-related service needs and ensures medical appointment follow-up.
Is responsible for assuring fiscal-related needs are addressed.
a. Assure private pay is billed accurately when applicable.
b. Complete the SNAP audit and verify the balance.
c. Audits grocery credit cards.
d. Check True link cards to determine if any transactions occurred.
e. Check all debit card transactions and make sure they are documented in Therap.
f. Make sure all receipts are accounted for and in Therap.
Works as part of a team to foster creativity throughout areas for growth, business development, and person-centered planning.
Assure that Agency policies and procedures are adhered to including but not limited to: abuse and neglect, financial documentation, and human resources.
Be visible to employees and all those receiving services, directly and indirectly. This visibility extends throughout all Area physical locations and all services provided.
Establish and maintain consistent lines of communication with all stakeholders.
a. Review and acknowledge T-logs
b. Check and respond to emails, SCOMMs, and voicemails within 24 hours.
c. Attend staff meetings for the team
d. Meet with Operations Coordinator daily.
Promote a proactive approach when facing change.
Be directly involved with and promote inter-area collaboration in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of projects that meet and exceed HCBS rulings.
Actively participate in meeting goals set forth in the Agency’s Strategic plan.
Willing to be flexible with schedule and put in the necessary time to ensure superior service delivery.
a. Rotates on-call responsibilities with the rest of the team and assists with covering
Vacant shifts when there is a need and the O.C. is already covering.
Able to work independently and in a self-directed manner.
Essential Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
1-year management experience in community-based services preferred.
Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license, pass a driving record check and may, depending on Agency needs, be required to have available an automobile with required state insurance coverage for purposes of transporting persons in service.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and all Agency required systems.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, walk, sit, stand, climb, push, carry, and grasp.
