and HoursThe Direct Support Professional / Community, under the supervision of a Manager or Supervisor, is responsible for direct care and supports to individuals receiving services in all settings. The job emphasis is on giving the persons in service the opportunity to make decisions and to participate in the community. The working hours are varied and can include daytime, evening, overnight and weekend hours.

About Us :
At Duet (formerly ENCOR), we provide support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a focus on empowerment and independence throughout 5 counties in Eastern Nebraska. We assist in the activities of daily living, provide community engagement opportunities, job coaching and life skills training, as well as skilled nursing care as needed. Given we provide support 24 / 7, we offer a variety of shifts that can accommodate your schedule.
What is a DSP?
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) encourages, supports, and engages adults with developmental disabilities. In other words, you are the go-to person for a fulfilling life! In a residential setting, you will walk beside those you serve and get paid to have fun and build lasting relationships.
As a Substitute, you are the manager’s last line of defense to provide care for our individuals. Once the manager creates a monthly schedule, any remaining shifts in the schedule will be offered to the pool of substitutes. If a shift interests you, let the manager know and it is yours! You can claim up to 29 hours a week.
