About Us:
At Duet (formerly ENCOR), we provide support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a focus on empowerment and independence throughout 5 counties in Eastern Nebraska. We assist in the activities of daily living, provide community engagement opportunities, job coaching, and life skills training, as well as skilled nursing care as needed. Given we provide support 24/7, we offer a variety of shifts that can accommodate your schedule.
A Day in the Life:
- Empower our individuals served to make independent choices and live life to its fullest through teaching and promoting independence in daily living activities
- Complete assessments and develop goals
- Partner with the individual and ISP teams to develop programs that will provide steps to reach desired goals
- Follow person-centered plans and complete proper documentation
- Transport supported individual to a variety of locations in the community, including doctor’s appointments
- Other duties as assigned
For the safety of those we serve, we ask the following:
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing with a relatively clean driving history
- Possess reliable and insured transportation
- Able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and clearly communicate with persons supported, parents, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Demonstrate basic computer skills (including e-mail software)
