About Us: Duet (formerly ENCOR) is a well-established nonprofit organization operating in the Greater Omaha area. Our mission is to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live life to its fullest. We assist in the activities of daily living, provide community engagement opportunities, job coaching and life skills training, as well as skilled nursing care as needed.
Job Summary: As a Operation Coordinator of our Shared Living Providers, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of home services including medical documentation, home visits, medication audits, and financial oversight. Additionally, this role will help create programs and implement behavior support plans designed to empower adults with DD to live life to its fullest.
A Day in the Life:
- Manage Shared Living Providers and their caseloads (approximately 12-15 individuals)
- Work with behavior support consultants to create behavior support plans and conduct assessments
- Write health related service programs and skilled programs
- Audit documentation to ensure quality and accuracy
- Manage cash-on-hand and checking accounts of individuals in service
- Serve as emergency point of contact for SLPs
- Conduct home visits to inspect living conditions and ensure all needs are being met
- Other responsibilities as assigned
For the safety of those we serve, we ask you possess the following:
- Previous experience with the developmental disability population
- A valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Reliable transportation that could be used to transport those you serve
- Familiarity with Therap preferred
- Familiarity with creating and writing programs and plans
- Ability to pass a background check, physical (lifting 70 pounds), and drug screen
- Ability to inspire a team through actions and words
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Management experience preferred, but not required
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred
