Carpenter/Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role is essential for various construction projects, focusing on building, restoration, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be comfortable working on-site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Work with siding materials to enhance the exterior of buildings.
• Assist in the restoration of properties within the restoration industry, including mold remediation tasks.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
• Engage in masonry work as needed for specific projects.

Skills

• Proven experience in carpentry or related fields within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with siding installation techniques and materials.
• Knowledge of mold remediation practices is a plus.
• Proficient in using power tools and other equipment safely.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading for accurate project implementation.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
