What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Host position at Dufour Cocktails & Provisions?
The Stage House Inn & Dufour Restaurant in Historic South Berwick, ME is looking to hire for our Front Desk & Reception position. This position will include both room reservations for our 20 room, boutique inn as well as dining reservations for our restaurant Dufour.
The Stage House inn, featuring 18 standard guest rooms and 2 suites is nestled in the heart of South Berwick, Maine. At the Stage House Inn we host wedding groups getting married at our sister property, The Red Barn at Outlook Farm as well as other guests throughout the week. Our on site restaurant, Dufour Cocktails & Provisions is an elevated dining experience open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and Brunch Sunday morning.
This position will include both room reservations for the Inn as well as dining reservations for our restaurant. Greeting customers & visitors in a friendly manner is of the upmost importance both in person as well as on the phone. Duties will include but are not limited too; greeting guests upon arrival, checking guests in to the inn, booking reservations for both the inn & restaurant in person and over the phone, seating guests during restaurant hours and delivering items to rooms when necessary. No employees enter rooms while guests are in the inn. This position will work closely with our General Manager and Event Coordinator.
