The DC Furniture Deluxer is responsible for prepping and minor touch-up work of furniture in delivery lanes to ensure it meets the quality and minimum prep standards.

The DC Furniture Deluxer is responsible for prepping and minor touch-up work of furniture in delivery lanes to ensure it meets the quality and minimum prep standards.

- Inspect and complete touch-up and minor repairs to all prepped furniture to ensure they meet the quality standards
- Restore products to like-new conditions using proven techniques, including refinishing and applying toners, highlights, or glazes to obtain desired finish to the products
- Assist with the prep of all furniture to meet delivery standards
- Applying lacquer or other sealers as required/needed
- Clean and polish furniture
- Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma is required
- 1 year of hand and power tool experience
- 1 year of furniture product knowledge preferred
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Driver’s License Required
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check is required
- Some exposure to solvents
- Routinely lift and carry objects up to 25-100 lbs. and assist lift 101 lbs. or more
- Ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting and using both hands for repetitive tasks
- Able to conduct physical work in warm and cold conditions
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Operates various equipment and tools
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus to read reports, view computer screen, etc.
- Work environments include office spaces, warehouses, and occasionally, retail/distribution locations that may be under construction/remodel
