What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Copywriter position at Duft Watterson?
We need more words. But not just any words.
We’re an Ad Age Agency of The Year award winner looking for a junior or midlevel copywriter with 1-5 years of experience. You’re someone who brings a unique tone and POV to language that moves people to action. The kind of stuff that makes us all see the world in new ways. We’ll take your words packaged as pithy headlines that drive award-winning concepts, but also need long-form prose. Either way, we want you to help us earn more national recognition, like a Pencil, a Lion, etc.
Interested? Great, here are a few "must haves."
A portfolio demonstrating forward-leaning advertising concepts, thinking and copy.
A team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for going deep with other inspired creatives and account people.
Willing to do the research to uncover great insights.
An appreciation for the power of a tight brand strategy and the creative it liberates.
Brief ad agency experience, or you're wrapping up an advertising/concepts finishing school like Denver Ad School, Miami Ad School, Art Center, etc.
A degree in advertising, PR, journalism, marketing, or a robust writing portfolio.
