Full Time Dental Assistant

Dugas Dental is a modern, quality-focused office that is looking for our next great dental assistant to work in our Mt. Gilead location. Our ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of experience. Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, be able to multi-task well. Our ideal candidate is also outgoing, energetic, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure a patient feels that their experience was "an upgrade".

We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience, paid training and CE, holiday pay, and a 401k with match. The position is 4 days per week, but we are flexible on days.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Take dental radiographs and assist with the interpretation of images.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
