As a Sales Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the ready-mix concrete industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, while working closely with seasoned professionals in the field.
Responsible For:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Research potential clients, competitors, and market trends.
- Analyze data to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
- Lead Generation:
- Assist in identifying and qualifying sales leads through various channels.
- Collaborate with the sales team to build and maintain a robust lead pipeline.
- Sales Support:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Attend client meetings and industry events to gain exposure to customer interactions.
- CRM Management:
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to organize and track sales activities.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions.
- Customer Engagement:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide information about our ready-mix concrete products and services.
- Assist in building and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with clients.
What we are looking for:
- Current college level student with major in Concrete Industry Management.
- Familiarity with all commonly used computer software (MS OfficeSuite, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A basic understanding of sales principles and techniques is a plus.
