As the Plant Oiler you will be responsible for assisting the Plant Operator with daily housekeeping, maintenance, and repairs on an asphalt plant and you will be responsible for directing drivers as they deliver materials to the plant. This position will be a floating position, which will require travel between our plants located in MN and SD.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance and repairs for plant as directed by Plant Operator.
• Directs truck drivers delivering material to the plant.
• Responsible for daily housekeeping for the plant,
• Keeps equipment clean and prepares plant for move when needed.
• Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite.
• Follows supervisor's instructions closely.

• Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas.
  
  

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly work extended | overtime hours, outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions at all project locations.
• Travel is required.
