A logistician conducts daily communication meetings with employees, maintains productivity and quality levels as set by Logistics Manager, creates/maintains an environment where employees are motivated to take ownership of responsibilities to increase productivity, analyzes warehouse areas to reduce backorders and shipping errors while reducing costs, schedules warehousing activities to allow for maximum storage, makes sound decisions quickly, analyzes logistic trends and changes in day-to-day business, resolves employee issues, ensures completion of cycle counts on a regular basis, and identifies and implements process improvements.

What You Will Get to Do:
In addition to general logistician skills, candidate shall possess the following capabilities:
- Experience shall include: property accounting processes to include the associated forms.
- Shall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
- Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.
- Shall have practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.
Required Skills:
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- They coordinate with team members – those in project management, security, asset management, customer service or help desk departments – to solve problems and manage projects. Conflict resolution, analytical, and decision-making skills are crucial to the position as well.
- Must have one of the following DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certifications: SEC CE, CYSA, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, CASP, CISM
Qualifications You Will Bring:
- Ten (10) years of experience working as a Logistician with management experience preferred.
