We are looking for the best and brightest zero trust engineers with 15 or more years of experience to join our certified, awarding winning, and innovative information technology team! Jobs are located in various parts of Maryland.

System Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Support to the Zero Trust Implementation. The candidate will work with existing ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and design documentation, perform technology assessments, and support risk mitigation assessments. The candidate is expected to provide technical expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies as well as create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates. The candidate will have the ability to understand and work with technologies like REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML).

What You Will Get to Do:

• Experience with SW development methodologies
• Ability to solve complex system/integration problems.
• Experience briefing senior-level management
• Familiarity with AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in working with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and brief technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
• Experience with developing program review materials
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be customer focused.
• Experience using SharePoint or Confluence and JIRA
• Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure, ISM, CAPCO and CUI Standards are a plus

Required Skills:

• No development required in this position just understanding of technologies.
• Other duties include research technical topics and apply it to different improvement areas, author documentation on technical topics including detailing how to use and configure system components and advisory documentation to support ICAM installation and planning. Additional duties include researching and analyzing cloud security environments, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, and outlining hardware and software considerations.
• Must be able to assist the software developers with tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support.

Qualifications You Will Bring:

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

OR

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
