We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and scans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding as required.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support pediatric dentistry procedures by providing age-appropriate care and communication.
- Utilize dental software for record management and appointment scheduling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental assisting role is preferred, particularly in endodontics or pediatric dentistry.
- Familiarity with dental software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.72 - $19.65 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
