Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support the medical and nursing staff.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests, and take electrocardiograms.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, explain treatment options, and promote patient/family understanding of the educational content.
Requirements
- Graduation from a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting for Level II.
- Must have Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA, or ARMA and BLS required.
