Duke Head and Neck Surgery & Communication, Surgical Oncologist

The Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible / board-certified clinical track faculty member to join the Division of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the level of Assistant Professor. Competitive applicants should possess a strong commitment to clinical care, collaboration, education, and innovation.

Role Overview :

• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary Head and Neck Disease Management Team.
• Provide an integrated and personalized treatment approach for patients with thyroid, oral cavity, pharyngeal, laryngeal, sinonasal, skin, salivary, and other types of head and neck cancers.
• Receive an academic appointment at Duke University.
• Perform complex head and neck surgical resections, including microvascular reconstruction
• Educate fellows, residents, and students.
• Conduct clinical or translational research.
• Participate in Head and Neck Service activities.
• Optional : perform craniomaxillofacial trauma coverage in collaboration with the Plastic, Oral, and Maxillofacial surgery.
