Key Responsibilities
The Nursing Assistant (NA) is accountable for:
- Providing direct care to patients, including preparing them for procedures, administering treatments, and performing personal care activities.
- Supporting RNs and LPNs with tasks such as taking vitals, documenting care, and communicating with patients and families.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
We require a strong educational foundation, with completion of a Level I Nurse Aide education program or equivalent experience. Current certification in BLS is mandatory, and a background check may be necessary. Pre-employment physical capacity testing may also be required.
