The ideal candidate will have a background in ophthalmology or optometry, with experience in performing preliminary screening examinations, including visual acuity, history taking, tonometry, lensometry, motility, pupil assessment, visual fields, and simple color vision tests. Strong communication skills are essential for alleviating patient and family concerns by explaining diagnostic procedures and methods of treatment.
