Responsibilities
- Comply with nursing practice standards and unit standards during assigned shifts.
- Direct the activities of licensed and non-licensed caregivers to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
Requirements
Education
A current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina is required; BSN preferred.
Experience
One to three years of supervisory experience is highly preferred; three to five years of clinical nursing experience in the applicable specialty area is required.
Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification
A current American Heart Association BLS certification is required; national certification in the area of specialty is preferred.
