Job Summary:
Quality Technicians support the operations and manufacturing as required, ensure conformity of products, procedures, processes and services to comply with quality standards and quality management system requirements. They also create, compile and maintain quality records and files in operations and manufacturing. Quality Techs also conduct inspection, testing and analysis of components, assemblies and finished goods to ensure conformity. Quality Techs also conduct internal and quality product audits.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate effectively across various media types (email, phone, conference or video) and in person.
- Schedule meetings; prepare reports and minutes of meetings, when required.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrate use of computer software (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Fluke and others)
- Be proficient with Excel to create Graphs, Charts and organize Data. Compiles reports and analyzes data.
- Must be able to use various types of standard office equipment (Computer, Copier, Camera, etc.)
- Participate in various training sessions and continual improvement team meetings.
- Maintain positive work atmosphere by practicing, living and teaching the Duke values.
- Perform various other job requirements for the Quality Department to include, but not limited to calibrating measuring devices, maintaining and controlling the Master Document Control list, can conduct functional inspection and tests of Duke Equipment and components.
- Serves on the Internal Audit Team.
- Possesses strong command of the current ISO Standard.
- Understands the quality management system and its policies and procedures.
- Effective root cause analysis skills and can facilitate large groups.
- Analyzes and distributes QI Report. Creates Pareto charts when necessary.
- Generates and monitors corrective actions and SCARs.
- Can troubleshoot Duke Equipment issues and has the mechanical aptitude to understand and apply mechanical principles.
- Understands and utilizes A3 thinking.
- Participates in Kamishibai audits.

Job Qualifications:
- Equivalent to high school plus additional specialized training.
- Over one (1) year to three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Work Location and Schedule:
- Sedalia, MO (full onsite)
- 1st shift: Mondays to Fridays 6:30am to 3:00pm
