Job Summary :
As an Associate Buyer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services essential for the organization's operations. You will be responsible for researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms. Your goal is to obtain high-quality products or services at the best possible price while adhering to the company's policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities & Duties :
Inventory Management :
- Oversee inventory organization, stock levels, and reconciliation efforts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and shrinkage.
- Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and update inventory records.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and accessibility.
- Generate and distribute inventory-related reports for management.
- Train warehouse staff on proper inventory tracking and control procedures.
