What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Intermodal Home Daily 1400-1800 Home Daily No Touch Intermodal position at Duke RT?
Class A drivers with 6 months experience in the last 3 years (can be any Class A experience) run local Intermodal. Containers run on bare chassis – will transfer bare chassis ramp to ramp as need arises
Both day and night shift available with drivers working 5 on and 2 off.
Hourly base rate is $21-$23/Hr based on experience; drivers average pay is $1400-$1800/WK base on experience
Benefits start after 30 days and all trucks are automatic and are parked at the yard in San Bernadino
Requirements:
- Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL with 6 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 3 years/.
- License must be CA license and match current address. Drivers must live within 50 miles of yard (92335)
- Accidents:
- No more than one DOT Preventable accident in the last two years
- No more than 3 incidents in the last three years and can not have more than 3 incidents and accidents together in the last 2 years
- All rear end at fault accidents are a one year DQ
- Major DOT Preventable (jackknife, rollover) must be five years old
- Moving Violations
- No more than 2 in the last 2 years except major moving violations which must be one year old (this applies to personal and commercial)
- Major moving violations are reckless, 15 , handheld, following to close, etc.
- 30MPH over must be 5 years old
- Can not have more than 4 jobs in the last year
- Cannot have been terminated from last job due to safety and can only happen once in the last 5 years.
- NO DUI in the last ten years and never in a commercial vehicle. Can never have failed or refused a DOT drug test
