Title : Assistant Volleyball Coach
Position Summary :
Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Volleyball Coach position. This position will assist the Head Coach with all phases of a Division I Volleyball program including organizing, planning and coaching.
Essential Functions :
- Responsible for assisting with phases of a Division I Volleyball program, within University, ACC and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Provide resources and lessons to enhance skill development
- Assist with the creation and implementation of offensive / defensive systems to prepare student athletes to compete.
- Understanding and utilizing volleyball analytics for education and scouting.
- Assist with recruiting
- Assist with travel planning
- Assist with practice planning, scouting and preparation
- Maintaining necessary compliance documents
- Assist with home competition operations
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach

Anticipated Pay Range :
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $65 to $75k. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
