We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Division of Gynecologic Oncology at Duke Women's Cancer Care in Raleigh NC . The APP will augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients in the clinic and hospital setting as well as possible first assist in the operating room. The APP will work in collaboration with physicians and advanced practice providers providing direct patient care services, performing consultations, collecting and documenting data, assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ordering and scheduling laboratory studies. Possibility of in-patient consults performed at Duke Raleigh Hospital as well as WakeMed Raleigh and WakeMed Cary Hospitals.
Job Hours
Primary hours will be Monday through Friday. Clinical and administrative sessions are generally 8 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM and 1 : 00 PM - 5 : 00 PM with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients. There is a possibility of weekend hours in the future with extended and alternative hours expected upon request / scheduling needs. There is a possibility of assignment to General OB-GYN sites as needed to provide the best patient access.
Experience
Preference for 1 years of work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Women's Health or Adult Oncology. As a new graduate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Women's Heath or Adult Oncology clinical rotations during the education program.
