Program Director for Global Health Partnerships
DGHI is seeking to hire a Program director to oversee its growing network of international and domestic partnerships. The Program Director will provide administrative and strategic support in consultation with DGHI leadership, including managing and coordinating financial development and administration, special program development and implementation, budgeting and oversight.
Work Performed
- Assist DGHI leadership in developing and implementing the Institute's international strategic priorities;
Coordinate and participate in meetings with faculty members to determine program objectives and to identify internal and external resources available to meet those objectives.
Including strategic planning / organizing of international meetings
Including sensitizing Duke leadership and administration about DGHI's partnerships and accomplishments as well as the unique challenges that our international partnerships face
develop RFAs for capacity building, partnership priorities and strategic growth
Education / Training : Degree required, Masters degree beneficial
Experience : Must have more than 3 years experience working in international programs, leadership experience
Skills : Work requires the ability to plan and administer programs and direct program activities within a specific functional area. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Innovative problem solving a must.
Essential job functions : Regular international travel is required. In-person work commitment at least 3 days per week when not traveling.

Anticipated Pay Range :
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $60,328.00 to USD $94,000.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills; internal peer equi ty; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
