What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer/Sales Associate position at Duke'z Men's Clothing Store?
We are looking for a graphic designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of in-store advertisements. Your job will be to work directly with management and ownership to create marketing media such as in-store signage, social media posts, email templates and other retail advertising materials. We will provide training and direction for retail marketing-focused graphic design.
Skills Required: Graphic Design
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Portfolio of graphic design work
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Familiarity with preparing graphics for appropriate distribution, whether print or digital material
- A keen eye for aesthetics
- A strong attention details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow the design direction of management and bring design concepts to life
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with management and owner to conceptualize and create designs and assets for the store
- Greet and direct customers
- Take charge of outfitting a customer with shirts, pants, and shoes
- Provide accurate information (e.g. item pricing, sizing, color coordination)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage exchanges of merchandise
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
