Position Summary
Duke Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated Associate in Research to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting advanced research projects focused on memory enhancement through deep brain stimulation (DBS), virtual reality applications, and trauma therapy in neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments and research studies related to DBS, virtual reality, and trauma therapy.
· Collaborate with Dr. Suthana and other team members to develop research protocols and methodologies.
· Collect, process, and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
· Prepare comprehensive reports, manuscripts, and presentations for publication and dissemination.
· Mentor and supervise junior researchers, graduate students, and lab technicians.
· Stay current with the latest research developments and integrate new findings into ongoing projects.
