The Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible / board-certified clinical track faculty memberThe Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-eligible / board-certified clinical track faculty member to join the Division of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the level of Assistant Professor. Role Overview :
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary Head and Neck Disease Management Team.Provide an integrated and personalized treatment approach for patients with thyroid, oral cavity, pharyngeal, laryngeal, sinonasal, skin, salivary, and other types of head and neck cancers.Receive an academic appointment at Duke University.Perform complex head and neck surgical resections, including microvascular reconstructionEducate fellows, residents, and students.Conduct clinical or translational research.Participate in Head and Neck Service activities.Optional : perform craniomaxillofacial trauma coverage in collaboration with the Plastic, Oral, and Maxillofacial surgery.Key Qualifications :
Board certified or eligible in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck SurgeryTraining in an AHNS accredited head and neck surgical oncology fellowshipExperience in Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS)Experience in Microvascular reconstructionExperience in integrating multi-disciplinary care of patients with advanced head and neck cancerCraniomaxillofacial trauma skills are welcomed, but not required
