Position Highlights:
The Director of Facility Maintenance provides leadership and direction for Duly Health and Care 3M Sq Ft facility management program, including leasing, facility maintenance, renovation and construction. The Director will be responsible for annual strategic budgets related to property management and development. Works with the administrative and medical leadership to plan facility and service line enhancements. Serves as the liaison to clinic operations directors and/or clinic administrators to ensure that Duly service needs are met.
Position Highlights:
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Primary Location: Downers Grove/Lisle IL.
- Travel: As necessary

- Executive owner of relationship with outsourced facilities management vendor (CBRE)
- Embed structured leadership and processes for resolving facilities related issues across the portfolio
- Establish a solid understanding of market trends in the healthcare real estate field and keep up to date on current events related to medical office buildings and locations
- Monitors facility operations and maintenance. Evaluates the effectiveness of security subcontractors to promote employee, patient, and visitor safety. Provides feedback to clinic operations directors and/or clinic administrators and facilitates resolution of issues.
- Develops project budgets and strategic capital budgets for facility maintenance. Monitors on-going budget performance and makes revisions as necessary. Controls facilities operation costs to provide the most efficient use of resources.
- Initiates capital renovation and construction projects related to facility maintenance. Coordinates selection of consultants and contractors. Establishes and maintains consistent standards for clinic construction and renovation. Partners with Director of Real Estate on projects over $1M
- Provides ongoing monitoring of contractor, vendor, and other department’s performance, both external and internal to Duly. Makes recommendations to the Facilities, Real Estate and Operations leaders regarding critical decisions impacting project deadlines, patient and employee safety, and ability to provide planned services.
- Strategic facility planning in order to support enterprise objectives. Assists other Operations leaders in planning renovations, best safety practices, and other operational facility issues. Advises other administrative departments in planning new services or revision of product lines.
- Maintenance and care of office buildings, related systems and equipment
- Building automation system operation

- Blueprint reading and project design
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s degree in building trades or other related study highly preferred
- 10 years experience in facilities maintenance and/or related trades
- General understanding of all trades such as HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry
- General understanding of construction processes in a medical environment
Salary : $116,000 - $174,000
