EPIC Analyst III, Professional Billing (PB) - Remote - Information Technology

The Epic Systems Analyst III works at a detailed technical level to resolve user problems and formulates new ideas to enhance Epic and any systems that integrate with Epic through interfaces, APIs, extracts or other means. An Epic Systems Analyst III mentors and leads other analysts and operational counterparts to maintain continuity in process and in support of our integrated Epic electronic medical record and all ancillary applications. This role will involve some project management skills including the documentation of project requirements, scope outlines, and the ability to project length of time for project completion.
Responsibilities
What you will do :
Under direct supervision of Information Technology leadership, the EPIC Analyst will be responsible for :
I&T ownership of 3 or more Epic modules or related applications / systems, or equivalent level of expertise40% of time dedicated to daily operational support and quarterly system updates40% of time dedicated to projects which includes supporting system enhancements / new features, enhanced workflow design, and optimizationInvestigate complex system errors and / or failures and coordinate the resolution of these issues.Utilize project management skills for leading the planning, testing scripts updates, reviewing of release notes, testing workflow and build changes for quarterly updates and system upgrades.Communicate with I&T and management staff in the evaluation and selection of prospective I&T systems that support or are bolt-on to the Epic Enterprise SystemLead efforts and initiatives to establish new connections to Epic for vendors, downstream systems, or new applicationsOrganize and prepare data from Epic and other systems to create reports geared towards executivesProactive in identifying future business needs / requirementsMentor and coach other Epic Analysts in problem analysis and resolution effortsCoordinate and contribute effectively to the implementation of large scale I&T projectsProvides on-call supportQualifications
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an IT application development role.At least 4 years, with 6 or more preferred of related technical experience to include implementation, support or hands on end user experience with EpicProject management experience required.Previous experience demonstrating process improvements.Certification in Resolute Professional BillingCertification in Claims and Remittance, Charge Router, Benefits Engine, or Reimbursement contracts desiredHealthcare experience required.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $85K-$128K, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
Salary : $85,000 - $128,000
