Responsibilities

The Senior Payroll Coordinator position is responsible for guiding the payroll team operations across multiple companies and states. This position is high volume, multi-state payroll responsible for payroll regulatory compliance within a fast-paced environment with continuous growth. Change management is an integral part of position including evaluation for continuous improvement in processes/procedures to ensure both efficiency and accuracy. This role leads the day-to-day operations of the Payroll Department which includes processing payrolls across multiple FEIN companies, reviewing/balancing of the payrolls to ensure accuracy, and coordinating across all segments of the organization in relation to Payroll.
- Process and plan the execution of all payroll functions (70%)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance
- Receive and resolve payroll inquiries from employees (15%)
- Provide paths to resolution
- Provide on-demand payroll reports across various segments of the organization (15%)
- Build and maintain various reports based on need
Qualifications
The Experiences You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2 years of experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skillset (Pivot table/V-Lookup) preferred
- Workday experience
- Experience with team processing payrolls across multiple FEIN/states
