What You’ll Be Doing
Once selected to join our team, you will:
- A ssist the RPLS Project Manager with land surveying duties and draft detailed drawings for various projects.
- Process field data, perform calculations, and manage documentation for different types of surveys.
- Determine methods for establishing or reestablishing survey control and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with Project Surveyors and Managers to ensure the delivery of complete, timely, and precise products.
- Perform field survey work and any other duties as necessary to support the team’s objectives.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid understanding of surveying principles and methods.
- Knowledge of proper retracement of land boundaries.
- Familiarity with field survey equipment and state plane coordinates systems
- Proficiency with documentation related to boundary analysis and decisions.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center software, and MS Office.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with mid-level math.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Survey Party Chief.
- 0-2 years’ experience with computer-aided drafting, specifically with Civil 3D software.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Level II Survey Technician Certification (CST) is preferred.
