Alarm Monitor
Job Title: Central Station Alarm Monitor
Reports To: Director of Operations
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Summary/Objective
The Alarm Monitor is primarily responsible for the monitoring and of enterprise systems at customer locations.
Essential Functions
1. Analyze and respond to security threats from, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and other security threat data sources.
2. Respond to inbound requests via phone and other electronic means for technical assistance with managed services
3. Respond in a timely manner within documented SLA.
4. Document actions in cases to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
5. Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices
6. Resolve problems independently and understand escalation procedure
7. Other duties as assigned.

4. Communication Proficiency.
Required Education and Experience
1. Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of experience working in the Information Security or Networking experience
2. Education: recently graduated or preparing to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.
3. Must be willing to work alternate shifts
4. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Detail oriented with strong customer service skills
6. Strong interpersonal and organization skills
7. Ability to take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services
8. Ability to interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner
9. Ability to function well in a team environment.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
