Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems and physical patrols to ensure safety.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential security risks.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, de-escalating situations when required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and reports.
Qualifications
- Valid security guard certification or equivalent training.
- Proficient in first aid and CPR; certification is preferred.
- Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies in a security context.
- Familiarity with law enforcement protocols is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
- Guard Card would be great. No paid classes offered through company.
