Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Clearly report all vehicle information
- Determine and recommend maintenance needs based on age, mileage and history of vehicle
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Establish follow up time to communicate status of customers vehicle
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Service Advisor Requirements:
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
- Very energetic personality
- A desire for long-term career with a growing organization
- Personal and professional integrity
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures ans specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
