Description
The Fuel System Compliance Specialist will be performing various testing of underground fuel system storage tanks, associated equipment for leaks to ensure petroleum vapor recovery systems are in compliance. This testing is done at customer sites. 20 % overnight travel.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform onsite tank assessments or surveys as well as associated processes/procedures
- Conduct leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping
- Install equipment and or testing of tank gauge systems
- Enter and analyze test results into company computer and be able to communicate any issues or findings for further direction
- Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on company vehicle
- Record any findings of deficiencies; recommend repairs needed as applicable
- Juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experienced in trades skills.
- Can lift to 70lbs as well as stoop, bend, and kneel regularly
- Adhere to a DOT physical & drug screen
- Good driving record. Must be insurable under company insurance
- Background checks all of which are subject to applicable federal, state, and local law
- Able to work independently upon completion of training
- Comfortable on the computer and/or tablet or phones for data entry
- Are able to communicate skills oral and written
- 20 % travel in a multi-state area, in some cases being away from home multiple nights in a row, hotels and per diem is provided.
- ATG and BUSTR installer certification licenses a plus
