Summary Of Sales Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed short and long-term revenue targets by developing new business.
- Be involved in every stage of the B2B sales transactions as well as developing key accounts throughout the territory.
- Use your professional marketing, selling and organizational skills to identify and qualify appropriate UAS product solutions for existing and potential customers.
- Provide completed sales forecasts and other activity feedback accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved to assist in customer retention and market expansion.
- Support other sales representatives and managers throughout Duncan-Parnell’s territory in the enhancement of revenues through cross-selling and expanding UAS market share.
- Participation in industry related events.
- Design and execute the strategic Sales plans and corresponding Sales budgets to drive expansion of the Geospatial customer base and generate desired levels of sales & profit growth over time.
- Establish annual sales goals and be accountable for your effort and results
- Represent Duncan-Parnell in a positive light with UAS partner relationships through effective communication, lead registration, marketing initiatives and margin improvement.
- Work with Operations to forecast inventory needs to meet customer expectations.
- Evaluate new technologies as requested by Management and develop strategies for taking new solutions to market
- Meet with key clients to build strong, long-lasting customer relationships, better understand evolving customer needs, demonstrate company commitment, and identify and capitalize upon growth opportunities.
- Utilize D-P’s CRM to effectively manage leads and opportunities and facilitate forecasting and planning.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as requested by the UAS Manager and/or Executive Vice-President.
- Abide by the Duncan-Parnell Mission Statement in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
- Must reside within the territory served or can relocate within three months.
- Self-driven with a positive attitude and team oriented
- High level technical expertise with UAS solutions and related applications.
- Familiarity with markets that purchase UAS technology – surveying, mapping, engineering, & construction.
- Demonstrate a firm understanding of complex sales cycles and ability to play the key role of a consultant to all contact levels within an organization.
- Achieve required monthly metrics.
- Customer-focused with the ability to grow the number of UAS accounts in the territory.
- Provide accurate and timely forecast to management.
- Ability to multi-task, self-prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting with professional communication skills.
- Ability to travel (up to 40% of time) throughout the territory served.
- Experience with LiDAR, Mobile Mapping, Terrestrial, and UAS products required.
- Part 107 license required.
- Work experience and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
