Automotive Parts Specialist – European Specialty Shop (Established Nearly 25 Years)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Specialist to join our dynamic team at a thriving European automotive repair facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Procurement and Management: Source and procure high-quality parts for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, and other European makes, ensuring an optimal balance between quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimizing excess stock while ensuring technicians have immediate access to necessary parts.
- Technical Support: Collaborate closely with our technicians, verifying part numbers and providing expert assistance for parts-related inquiries.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable parts delivery.
- Customer Interaction: Handle occasional customer inquiries and phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Operational Efficiency: Support the shop’s workflow by ensuring timely parts availability in a high-volume environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Specialist, preferably within a European automotive specialty shop.
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volvo parts and systems, or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in utilizing parts catalogs and online resources.
