Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems that support our innovative cybersecurity solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will play a critical role in implementing key features, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend systems using Python (Django) and Go, following best practices for clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Database Management: Implement and optimize queries for both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Cloud Integration: Support the deployment and monitoring of cloud-based services on AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS). Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure design and optimization.
• DevOps Support: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Jenkins, and Git, ensuring smooth build and deployment processes.
• Security Implementation: Assist in implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML/SCIM, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks with support from the team, leveraging CDN and cloud caching solutions where appropriate.
• Unix System Management: Utilize Unix terminal skills for basic system operations and troubleshooting.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and product managers, to deliver high-quality features aligned with business goals.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to team discussions about improving development practices and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Backend Development: 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Python (Django) and/or Go, developing and maintaining production-ready backend systems.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, including query optimization.
• Cloud Familiarity: Basic experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.), with a willingness to learn and grow expertise in cloud infrastructure.
• DevOps Skills: Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, with exposure to automated deployment pipelines.
• Security Basics: Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT, with eagerness to learn more about secure systems.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to debug issues and optimize system performance, with guidance from senior engineers.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive attitude toward contributing to team goals and delivering results.
• Growth-Oriented: Interest in expanding technical knowledge and growing within a fast-paced, agile environment.
