The Dunedin Highlanders, currently ranked #1 in the Elite American Football League AA Division (EAFL), are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Head Football Coach to lead our semi-pro team into its next chapter of dominance. We’re looking for a coach who can inspire, strategize, and drive excellence both on and off the field.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the football program, including planning, organizing, and directing team operations.
Develop game plans, playbooks, and strategies tailored to the team’s strengths.
Oversee training sessions, film study, and player development.
Work closely with the General Manager and team executives on roster decisions.
Maintain discipline, accountability, and a winning culture.
Represent the team with professionalism in community events, media, and league functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience coaching competitive football (semi-pro, college, or high-level high school).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and manage players from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of modern offensive and defensive schemes.
Commitment to player development and team culture.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $1.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
