We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while providing exceptional service and high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee drinks, managing transactions, and ensuring that our café remains a clean and inviting space. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Manage cash handling processes, including operating the register and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Educate customers about our menu offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while maintaining high service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service best practices is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- A strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and food safety protocols will enhance your candidacy.
